Runaway
Lain looked over her shoulder for probably the tenth time since she entered New Mexico. She was on her way to Oregon, but only got to here on that bus ticket. Sighing she hiked her bag on her shoulder better and started wondering the city she was in.
Every sound, every voice made her nervous as she kept her hoodie up and hoped no one some how recognized her. She knew Charles was looking for her. Of course he was, she was his property wasn't she? Sighing again she ducked into a bar, using her telepathy to trick the bouncer into letting her in. Simple minds were so easy to her.
