Bom dia pessoas queridas. _______________________________________________________ @windowboxcottage . . . windowboxcottage Another glistening sunny day on the lake, and I can tell you there is nothing I enjoy more than planting with the water as my backdrop. Years ago, it always seemed like a mad rush to finish all our house chores and jump on the boat for all-day excursions. Our daughter was little, and she devoured those weekends! Now, as we are retired, and are down to one home, we are so content to be surrounded by the lake and the peace it evokes … and the occasional boat ride, especially when the lake is quiet. Funny how things change. I spotted these gigantic white petal geraniums at the nursery yesterday and I immediately fell for them! These boxes on the porch contain two of them, two white bacopa, one white verbena, and two variegated ivys. I’m enjoying the clean feeling of these pretties! We will see how they do! Hubs and I got on the topic of what are our three favorite months. Ours are May, June and September, in that order! What are yours?
