As always, Billy found himself outside of the video store whenever there was a really high desire for some Starlight Knights hours! This time it wasn’t just for that, though. It had started off as a simple wish, a request for a new Starlight Knights tape at Random Play. Oh! And for one of those crime movies Anby was getting kinda super obsessed with. Movie night was coming up after all! And that was when it hit him.
Have I ever had a movie night with Manager?
Obviously, he’d been there to grab Starlight Knights things and whenever Manager asked for a promoter (which he was great at! Just look at all the customers it drew in last time!) but a movie night? It didn’t exist within its memory module. So, either he desperately needed to get it upgraded or! The horror! He’d never invited Manager out for movies. Not that it was doing that this time either. It was more like an invite in??? Did those exist???
“Manager ! I’ve got a request !”
No time to worry about that now, though. It entered the video store a quick glance around and it was met with her green eyes. Yes! He hadn’t missed her!
“Here ! Let’s watch some movies together.”
️️️ ️️️ ️️️ ️️️ ️️️ ️️️ ️️️ ️️️ ️️️ ️️ALTHOUGH RANDOM PLAY IS THE FARTHEST THING from the biggest hotspot in town, proxy takes pride in her craft of establishing the video store as a comforting place for people to frequent. not only are their regulars quite pleasant, but belle also knows them ENOUGH to be able to make accurate guesses on the movies they would like to rent out. it's a small game she likes to play when manning the counter, while wise busies himself with other work apart from their central business. the CHIMING bell of the door opening piques her interest, her head turning to fix her gaze on their new customer.

she tilts her head, amused. still, her smile doesn't appear any less approachable. a request to WATCH something with her, huh ? well, she'd be happy to entertain it, but there are still a few more minutes before eighteen comes to take over for closing. " less of a request & more of a command when you say ‘here’, right ? " she jests, holding no real ACCUSATIONS as she stretches and gestures her head towards the stacks of movies.
