tbh i don’t even know what to do with my main blog, i just changed the name to moonlight-realm and i’d love to go in a more fantasy/medieval direction (bc I had fun when i did that before) but my past theme was really modern & fresh, i have a nice amount of followers on there but i haven’t been gaining at all for the past like year so i feel like it won’t hurt to change the direction

ughhh i seriously wish i could make this my main because it’s so much more me which makes it so easy to stay in one lane instead of drastically changing styles

12: a song from your preteen years

oooh my goodness I had some embarrassingly awful music taste back then haha. The first song that comes to mind though is “I’m Not Okay” by My Chemical Romance, which of course shows what a deep and tortured soul I was on my way to becoming

15: a song that is covered by another artist

I happen to love covers--I think it’s really interesting when one artist reimagines another’s song. I really like MS MR’s cover of “Do I Wanna Know” because her style matches perfectly with the lyrics

19: a song that makes you think about life

For this one I definitely have to go with “Awake My Soul,” by Mumford and Sons. I have that title incorporated in a tattoo and the song really reminds me to not fall prey to an existence that is nothing but routine and mindless drudgery

Yesterday, my friends and I took a road trip to my roommate'a home town to visit a pumpkin patch and explore. This was taken at a local nature preserve, and it was absolutely beautiful.

There was a point in time where this blog was doing pretty well, gaining followers and positive feedback, but it's been stagnant and it seems that for every few followers I gain, the more I lose. Not that I mind follower count, but as it stays around the same three numbers (and has been for months now) I can't help but wonder if I should "freshen" it up a bit.

I don't want to completely change directions, which would throw a lot of people off and probably cause them to unfollow, but I need a fresh new take on this 4-year-old blog. I'm still into the things I post now (nature, cozy stuff, cabins, food, etc.) but I'm wondering if I could add to it or change the "theme"/feel of this blog. I'm just hesitant because it's risky, and this blog has become my baby lol.

If anyone has any suggestions, I'd love to hear them!
