.. looking man I have such a bone to pick with crwby when it comes to Adam because they dropped the ball on him in terms of writing- AKA HIS WRITING AS A VILLAIN IS GOD AWFUL.

First, first of all, the white fang subplot is already a mess of issues and Adam is one of them because he is written SPECIFICALLY to be Blake's ex and when he's in the white fang he just does shit to move the plot forward if it doesn't involve Blake, killing sienna DIDN'T involve Blake he just did it for the plot and even then it amounted to nothing because the white fang just apparently dissolved after Blake kicked Adams ass and gave her speech (you would atleast expect remnants of them to still be kicking because let's face it if a group like the white fang is THAT BIG there are going to be some remaining clusters that won't go), teaming up with Salem's forces didn't involve Blake he just did it because it moves the plot, he didn't even attack beacon because he thought Blake was there, he just went through with that shit because he was being threatened by cinder! etc etc, you get the fucking point!

If they are going to write him as an antagonist TO BLAKE (who I have made it very apparent I do not like in terms of writing-) then why, oh fucking why do they have him make actions that don't affect Blake?! Oh, wait that's because HES A PART OF THE WHITE FUCKING FANG! ... Which makes me facepalm even more actually because his writing for the white fang subplot just doesn't exist because the only thing he's written for is to be about Blake... Do you see where I'm going with this?

The problem with Adam's character is that he is WRITTEN to be one dimensional, he is specifically written to be a loser ex who hates Blake, yet in the position he is in, he can't just be one dimensional, hes a member of the white fang, he is trying to fight for his people (you may add air quotes to that because whether he actually wanted to or not-) yet he is only written to be focused on Blake, and he is so incompetent as a character you wonder how the fuck he's even supposed to be taken as an actual threat because YES HE IS SUPPOSED TO BE A FUCKING THREAT!

When he is first shown interacting with Blake after she left, Blake Is instantly put off foot and made extremely uncomfortable, he's supposed to be threatening in that moment because with how he is treated as, he's supposed to be this intimidating bastard and the thing is- HE IS! He fucking mops the floor with Blake and yang, he gives yang FUCKING PTSD he shows the audience how fucking terrifying he is, but as the show goes on that fear he instills when it's STILL SUPPOSED TO BE THERE, there's supposed to be something intimidating about so when he gets his ass Molly whopped by Blake and yang we get a sense of gratification that he got his ass beat and he's no longer a threat.

BUT HES JUST FUCKING INCOMPETENT! And that's my problem because I don't want Adam to be redeemed I wanted to see him get his ass kicked six ways to Sunday but there's no gratification if he's a fucking dumbass the most of the time we see him!

I don't know I just- I fuckin hate Adam as a character and as much I hate saying this, removing his character would have been a positive thing, just get rid of his character and just give the white fang big bad role to like fucking sienna give her character something to do instead of just existing for a few seconds and dying.

.. honestly this is why I'm completely overhauling his character in my rewrite because the character he is just pisses me off with how much missed potential there is for him as a villain.

Fuck it just put his ass on the shelf where he belongs, he's a dead horse and I'm sick of seeing his wasted mug.
