Sparks were repeatedly going off in the power plant, small bolts occasionally connecting along the rods. This, obviously, wasn't a normal thing. And standing right in the middle of it all was Shade, making final adjustments to one last rod on the ground--the main conductor.
She watched the sparks for a moment, making sure her timing was right; and just as the sparks began moving towards the ground, she grabbed onto the rod she'd been fiddling with. As though she were now replacing that rod, all of the sparks and bolts rushed to that spot, collecting inside her with one giant shock; going on until the powerplant ran out of its excess energy--just a mere three seconds later.
Once it was all finished, she gave a small huff, wiping her forehead. The occasional spark could now be seen moving along her body and clothing. And it was at that point that she turned around to see that someone was there. "Wh--hey, what the heck're you doin here?? And how long have you been there??"

Oh, how excited the duck was. Just when he thought he wouldn't see Fang for a while, he was popping up left, right, and center. He snatched up the others goggles due to the shine in the sun and rushed up a nearby tree to prevent it from being taken back
