Usually the posts I see that say 'gays are accepted' are ones referring to 'in safe spaces.' LGBTQA spaces. the LG part of that is usually what comes first - everyone else is often considered just an ally or, sometimes, a poser. I agree with you - I think those posts aren't helping anyone. But inter-LGBTQA fighting is a thing. Its not just people saying that gays are accepted in straight society - its that everything after the G is marginalized even in spaces supposedly provided for them.
well, this wasnât about that. it was referring to a fandom being âwidely acceptingâ of all orientations except aros + aces, despite heaps of homophobic/biphobic/transphobic behavior in the fandom.
