• Max Verstappen will always stay as the GOAT in f1 history because of his performance this year and reducing the point difference from 104 to 2 on third fastest car

• Max and Charles got the most pole positions in ground effect era

•Max had the most consecutive podiums, most poles, wins and laps led this season on THIRD fastest car

•In 2026 there is no ground effect meaning no bounce for cars (that was a one of the major problems for most teams)

•Also no DRS meaning Mclaren won’t have that much of a dominance on straights like this season

• Cars will have more overtaking opportunities bcs of regulations (remember who are the kings of overtaking)

•Mclaren did the worst job managing issues in their team and everyone STILL hate on them so we are not alone. They made BOTH drivers miserable by papaya rules

• You can’t predict how cars next year gonna act so we can all hope for ferrari comeback because based on Charles, they turned their focus on the next year’s car since brazil

READ THAT 770 kg include driver, oil, water and etc etc, meaning that 2kg overweight is nothing, driver can just take a shit (sorry not sorry) and then they wont be overweight at all

tbh i when i heard about steel engine i thought that 1) engine might fail 2) car will be overweight

but according to rumors 1) engine actually performed well and did most laps yet 2) it is clearly not overweight😌

Hello! Thank you for asking me for this question. This is my first ask🙏🏻

To be honest I can ramble for HOURS about sf-25 and WHY is it a bad car, but simply: Yes, it is completely different car than sf-24. Ferrari (Fred Vasseur) stated during previous season brake that sf-25 has less than 1% from sf-24.

The more detailed answer:

“..and EVEN competitive”

In 2024 SF-24 was great. They ended up second in wcc by 14 points😬 they had 22/24 podiums. Car was definitely good. However, Ferrari thought that in 2025 they should risk by changing both wings AND suspension… (i wouldn’t be suprised if they would have changed the engine drastically) They took this risk to improve the aerodynamics, so their drivers and car would be more competetive than in 2024 (i don’t understand their logic too tbh) The sf-25 new suspension (photo below) is more aerodynamic BUT it is more difficult to manage since you need to also figure out the height of the car that would be the best. I think it took them a lot of time to prepare car each race so they wouldn’t be dsq but also competetive (..and they failed miserably)

Ferrari couldn’t manage that so it lead to their DSQ in China (Second race of the season) due to plank wear. That shows a lot.

From the start of the season I think most of the people got an idea that car was so bad that it was behind two williams in qualifying 😔 They were right tho

Moreover, Ferrari have some questionable strategists that would leave drivers on hards during rain or respond with diabolical messages on radio to their drivers. It is the drivers that use the whole potential of those cars. It must be their fault that they lost WCC in 2024 because of those strategies😔

We can’t predict how the next car will perform but I hope for comeback. Ferrari can make a good car but they shouldn’t risk that much as they did this season. The car was too dangerous leaving drivers with too much bouncing, li-co treatment and dsq🥲 I hope those regulations would help ferrari to get wcc and cl16 wdc

Maybe (if i will get more miserable) I will dedicate a post to SF-25 and why is it bad but tbh this car should be forgotten for God’s sake.
