I wanted to add, I also think this showcases a different approach to how Pride/Arrogance can present itself. Sure, he doesn’t want his brothers to feel guilt but one line in this current event stood out to me; HE couldn’t deal with watching Michael deal with grief/guilt, so he erased it.

As sad as Michael was, he was managing (and learning). Lucifer completely disregards this because LUCIFER couldn’t take it anymore. His feelings take precedence over everyone else’s. AND GOD IS ENABLING IT!!!

Also, his need to ‘bleed on everything’ with his broken wings and gaping wound is another representation of this thought process. He carries the weight of fault because HE thinks he’s the only one worthy of it (He definitely holds some fault but not all of it). It’s a subtle but very self centered way of thinking.

To be fair, I haven’t read all his cards so you could say I’m shooting from the hip here, but it’s an interesting thought.

I looked into it and notice that, Gabriel's has the same chains as his Spiga/wheat chain.

So, my guess is that all three Seraphim are wearing these to not give in to temptation.

Is a way for them to keep their purity and devotion to God.

Another thought, that maybe is that when God disappeared. All three angels have nothing to focus on and now, all their desire start to surface.

So in order to keep them at bay, they wear these Chasity Belts to maintain.

But these are lapse of judgement, hence Raphael having piercings and hiding them or rarely show his body.

So far, I leaning on this theory. But who knows, my friend just reach part 2 of both Michael and Raphael (Lucky bitch got both cards in one 10 pull, love you boo ^3^)
