Credit to @trimandan : The last 24 hours have given me time to reflect. My youngest son and his buddy were in an accident that totaled his car last night. Me and my wife are both out of town for work. The boys are completely fine and our friends rallied immediately to help and make sure everything was ok and taken care of. I struggle with #FOMO (fear of missing out) and try to participate in, attend, sign up for, plan as many things as I can. I’ve been trying to slow down, not over-commit or over-promise, and make commitments I can keep. Our words are important, I don’t want to be let down, so when I say I’m going to do it, I’m going to make sure I want to do it before blindly saying ‘yes’. We get this one life, it’s a journey, and we all have the power to choose happy and the things that will lead us there.
