Why is the idea of being owned romanticized. I don't care if it's a male or female that it's said to (though generally females are told this). "You're mine". Like asjkdlfsh, why is this okay? You are you're own person, you are not owned, YOU ARE NOT A POSSESSION! While some may say that it's like a "pet name" or "cute"! But like, you are a human being and deserve to be told you are loved, not that you're owned. This is an issue society should address.
