Technically, no. I'm not using him as a reference, per se, and I left the company on "eligible for rehire" terms, so that's all that HR can say about me if/when potential employers call to verify. I list their number at corporate, his info is nowhere on my resume. But, I'm *mostly* not a bridge-burner by nature, so I'm sure I'll respond to him. Eventually. The thing is, I know why he's asking (they want to repurpose my phone for somebody else), and he SHOULD have obtained this information at the time they sent me packing, but he didn't, because he's a shit manager and has no idea what he's doing. So I can at least make him look bad for a day or two. Petty? Sure. But fuck that guy.
