anyway it's so funny how people think link kills the yiga clan when not only do they visibly teleport away but link HAS killed people onscreen. multiple times. does ww ganondorf getting his head stabbed through mean nothing to you . shut up

#glider rambles #whatever. i'm normal #the common argument i see for why link kills yiga clan members in-game is that the teleportation animation is to keep the rating down #but. somehow. stabbing ganondorf in the head. does not count #like okay. that doesnt make any sense.#like YES it's a tone thing and YES monsters in botw do canonically leave a corpse.#BUT. there's just too much evidence against the yiga actually dying in fights against link #they're considered cowards by urbosa for a reason. those guys retreat #also monsters ''poofing'' in botw is 100% more of a game mechanic thing to get the entity off the map I think #I also think this is true for other games. i think in the vast majority of games there's no reason why monsters wouldn't leave corpses #from the top of my head I think at least tp would count as a monster corpse game (bulblin slumps over in a saddle in a cutscene iirc)#anyway WHATEVER I just think most of the time the whole link kills yiga clan members ooooo is just pointlessly edgy and cruel #genuinely pisses me off. zelda is already bad enough about who it chooses to be worthy of violent death do not do their work for them
