So this thing keeps happening and I don't understand it at all: Whom Gods Would Destroy, Part III outsells Part II. So it's pretty much a fact of the industry that the first book of a series will sell the best over time, with a drop off over time. Now, there may be some variation in long-runners with many entries that are barely connected; for example, I assume that some of the more popular entries in the Discworld series like Guards! Guards! or Mort outsell those clunkier early entries.
But WGWD is a trilogy. People are somehow going from book one to three. And it's not like the data should be off, part two isn't on a special storefront or anything. I didn't pull it. What is this purchasing pattern? The numbers are in the titles
