Jim is greedy with his curiosity. He just needs to know everything, the in's and out's, the where, why and hows. Plank doesn't mind, maybe bothered if he doesn't know himself why his tongue rolls over the я . Dialect, he has said at the time, thinking of how his mother used to speak to him, the movies he used to watch.   

"Come, цветочек." Plank smiled ruefully, slotting Jim on the couch as he dragged an old VHS copy of Beauty and the Beast, in russian for him.  It is how Plank learned as a child to speak and sing, the rhyme of russian played well in song. "We'll watch, and you'll learn." 

Jim was vibrating with excitement, repeating softly after every song and last breathe of the dialog as the movie continued. Sure, Jim had seen the english version so the movie wasn't new. But it must of sounded like new songs, new whispers and mouth movements. Plank wasn't sure because after the first ten minutes he was stretched across the couch (and Jim), out cold. 

The buzzing rewind of the old VHS, DVD player went unnoticed as Plank went to work, but he didn't mind. He enjoyed watching Jim learn, smile, and sing his native language. It bubbled low in his chest, beated against his heart, twisting with each mispronounced conjugation. Jim was greedily curious about him. 

"♪ Каждый день, как один, прежде чем ♫", Jim sings louder, more confident. The boy twists back brushing the dust from his apron as he folds the dough again before kneading it into the pan for baking, humming louder. "♫ Маленький город, полный маленьких людей-♫ ". 

Jim bends forward to push the tin into the preheated oven as Plank spins him around, "♫Bonjour! Bonjour! Bonjour! Bonjour! Bonjour!♫" He bends down quickly to pepper kisses on the boys cheeks as he continues to sing. 

"♫ Там идет Бейкер с подносом, как и всегда ♪ " Plank sings aloud as he twists and sway Jim around the small kitchen, beaming as the boy leans forward to giggle into his chest. "♪  Та же старая хлеб и булочки, чтобы продать !♫" 

"You caught me!" Jim laughs, wrapping his arms around the russians waist as they continue to move and spin. Plank hums a high tone in agreement, kissing the top of his loves head. 

"You're getting better цветочек." Plank hums craning low to catch their lips breifly before smiling sweetly into Jim's mouth, soft and familiar like old childhood movies and forgotten limericks.

Jim sighs contently, continuing, "♫Каждое утро точно так же♫"
