For close to a year now, Westbridge has been going on strong. Sure, we've had moments where the strength didn't quite reach us consistently, but with the amazing support and commitment of the talented writers in this group we've remained on top of it. It is for this reason that Beth, Tee and I have had such a hard time coming to the conclusion of giving Westbridge a rest. As you all know, we have for a few months now been working on a spin-off RPG in New York.
While the original plan was to continue both groups, we realise how hard it would be to do this, and that the spin-off has much more of an opportunity for character development and players alike; characters from any gender and (most) ages are welcomed in the RP.
We understand that this might be surprising and, of course, saddening, but we would like to start the roleplay in positivity and with hope that it will remain, if not stronger, than Westbridge has. The best way to take this, is that Westbridge is not closing down, just moving, much like it's characters. Speaking of, we would love it if you decided to apply for the NYC RP (we will have links up soon!) and join us on our new journey. If you are a player here, you needn't worry about including a sample paragraph- you can apply as though you were applying for a second character to make it simpler.
Westbridge cannot be left so simply, though. The admins are organising a graduation and a ball for the students to attend to celebrate the journey and the farewell of Westbridge Boarding High. Dates have not been fully discussed just yet, so be sure to keep a tab on the main for them to be posted-- as well as the link for the new RP.
