"Our library here is nearly as old as the town itself. Although our primary focus is tourism, history is a huge part of Abnormaville! We keep careful records of every anomaly, and entries date back to over a century ago. Alongside Abnormaville's history, we also have non-fiction and fiction entries--including real memoirs that have been donated to us--regarding other infamous events and figures, such as the Wither Storm and the Admins. Most of our books are in English, but we also have some in Spanish, French, Russian, Villagerese, Standard Galactic, and a select few others. Be sure to ask the librarian for any translations you require.

Aside from history, you can also find your standard library genres here: fantasy, sci-fi, historical fiction... anything you can think of, really! Feel free to check out a book for on-the-go reading or stay and indulge instead.

"The last stop on our tour is none other than our extensive museum. You've seen it, you've walked right by it--now it's time to actually go inside! The museum here has three floors (two, technically): the ground floor, which is the outside; the first floor, which is localized around the Abyss; and the second floor. What's the Abyss, you ask? Well, in the very center of the town is a giant missing chunk that extends all the way down to the Void. It seems as though anomalies are more common to appear over time within a certain vicinity of the Abyss, with less and less appearing the further out you get. Nobody's really sure why this is the case, but it is! Careful not to lean over the edge or you just may fall in! (For legal reasons, this is a joke. We have fencing.)

Outside, you can find exhibits based around anomalies. Some, you may be familiar with--such as brown cows and the Day Terrors we visited earlier--but others may be more foreign to you. On the first floor, the primary focus is on normal exploration: end cities, amethyst geodes, and mineshafts, to name a few. Some of our exhibits are still works-in-progress, so I apologize for that. We also have statues of the Warden, a Wither, the Witherstorm, and the Ender Dragon.

The second floor revolves around urban legends and land anomalies. You can find exhibits on the Farlands and the Barlands here, as well as other fun mythos like the Killer Rabbit and the Aether! I won't spoil too much, so take a look for yourself!

"Thanks for sticking with me for the picture tour! I hope you learned something new about Abnormaville, and I certainly hope you had fun! If you didn't, then come back next year! Our exhibits change all the time.

"Here's where all of our permanent residents stay. Of course, there is more housing outside the gates; only the residential housing inside of Abnormaville is a spot on the tour, as those outside prefer not to interact with tourists. On these paths you can meet all of our anomalous residents--so much as they allow it--and ask all your burning questions you've been preparing since you've walked in the gates. Be polite! The people here are just as human as you are.

Right beside the housing are the community builds. As these residents are permanent, I made sure they had plenty of room to build whatever they liked. We've got wool statues, redstone contraptions, and fun mechanical wonders everywhere! Our residents have also enjoyed helping with other builds in-town, such as the mob grinder and the greenhouse. You'll find builds here from familiar faces such as Laura, Winifred, and Nolan, among many others.

"One of the main attractions of Abnormaville is our intensive market, where travelers from both the Overworld and the Nether gather to trade their wares. Here you can find all sorts of goodies and souvenirs--for the right price, of course! While most of our market is a trading hub, currency--typically in gold or iron form--is generally accepted.

In the upper left of the market you can find the exotic block stall, run by The Ferryman, one of our most prideful residents (and another anomaly!) Mr. Ferry has taken care to travel the most dangerous parts of the Overworld to supply his stand with blocks you may never have even seen before: monster spawners, netherite blocks, and sculk catalysts, just to name a few. If you're not looking to trade, Mr. Ferry also offers free tarot readings.

"Today we've got a three-for-one. Here we have the chicken coop, where we keep all of our hens and chickens (as you could guess by the name.) Let's take a look at that little guy right there--a two-headed chicken! As uncommon as they are, I've seen at least five of these guys in the time I've been here. They're great examples of animal anomalies.

In the back there, you can see the unfinished mob grinder. Our very talented redstone engineer Laura is responsible for building it, but she's a little preoccupied right now with fixing the front gate, so the grinder is a work-in-progress. It's important for our residents who have trouble venturing outside of town to have a renewable source of experience for repairing their tools and armor.

"Today we'll take a closer look at the barn and the mines, both popular places among our permanent residents. Because we have a separate stable for horses, the barn mainly houses cattle, with cows, sheep, and pigs being of highest priority. We also have a fair share of mooshrooms here in Abnormaville, so you can find them there too, in case you've never laid eyes on one in-person! Tourists are free to roam the barn, but be aware that there is an age limit to make sure all of our animals are safe and comfortable. We have a separate petting zoo beside the chicken coop if you're looking to cuddle the cows instead of look at them.

Next up are the mines. Our cave exploration supervisor Nolan is responsible for overseeing all mining duties, including but not limited to: where to mine, what to mine, what to keep, and what to share with our friends beneath the stone. Nolan is usually quite busy, but feel free to ask him any questions you have, so long as he is available and willing to answer.

"Feeling like doing a little learning? Now that we've explored much of the right half of town, it's time to get into the nitty-gritty of what makes Abnormaville such a popular tourist attraction: the exhibits! Our first stop on the list is none other than the phantom exhibit. Contrary to its name, this exhibit also includes big bees, frogs, and parrots.

You might have seen phantoms elsewhere in town as we've walked through the tour. The phantoms here are actually mutated versions of normal phantoms. We call them 'day terrors'. And wouldn't you know it, there's one photobombing us right now! Day terrors are actually quite docile, and behave similarly to street cats and seagulls. You may find them swooping down to steal your food, nest in your hair, or just to be a general nuisance. Please do not feed them, as they are already a problem enough as-is; but don't harm them, either! They are protected here in spite of their annoyance.
