Rambled about it on Bluesky already (full 2am brainstorm can be found [here]), but I'm thinking about hosting another jjba zine 🤔
The catch: it would be fanfic centric! The idea I'm toying around with is initially accepting authors (around 10-15) and then opening apps for 5-10 spot artists down the line...fewer if authors want to supply spot art for themselves, or if there isn't enough author interest in spot art. Would also open applications for proof readers; these individuals would still get credited and receive a copy of the zine like any other contributor would, in my ideal world.
This comes from my experience as a fan fic author participating in zines... there simply aren't many spots available for fic authors due to the amount of pages their pieces require. It can be a bit demoralizing haha. It's also sometimes hard to get the support you do need during a project, since there's typically only 1 writing mod who is responsible for reviewing/editing/moderating ~5 works/authors--more if there's an NSFW side.
The theme I like the most so far is a zine focused on Stands--the inner lives of Stands, the relationship between a Stand and its user, AUs revolving around Stands... etc etc etc. The Standverse au lives in my mind rent free, so it def inspired me haha.
If anyone (moots especially!) have any thoughts or suggestions abt this project concept then plz lmk! I may try and work out details a bit more tomorrow...I'm a bit unemployed atm so job hunt has to be my main priority 😭
this look kills me so much. obi wan went through fighting anakin, someone he basically raised from childhood, leaving him for dead, having his entire lifestyle uprooted from him and everyone else he knew killed, the man who qui gon died telling him to believe in doing so, and now he's left with his best friend since his padawan years as she's dying before him in childbirth. and he's just smiling at her to help keep her calm, he has such a loving look on his face because he really does love padmé. and he's watching the life be snuffed from one of the remaining few things he has left. but obi wan is still smiling just for her in her final moments
i really miss seeing ghost tommy stuff the designs r always sick. ghommy. phantommy (personal fav). hell yeah. i know ghostbur was more abt cwil’s legacy w lmanburg but i think tommyinnit from nowhere who inserted himself into everyone’s story and held a firm but heavy weight in the minds of everyone who knew him but also died cold and alone despite it all. yeah he deserves to haunt a bit

The main thing I do is my pokespe au where rubys an admin of team magma, I post about it pretty often :) I’m also just generally very au-ful and love making what if stuff and crossovers and whatnot!
