I saw again that 2014 collage that i reposted because someone commented. A part of my heart still aches looking at it because it was the last birthday that you celebrated with us. I’m more happy than sad though. I have this card holder that serves as a makeshift photo album, containing some good old photos of my momma and daddy, my grad pic in Grade 6, my fave Tito Jun, my kuya @jmv624 & i, including this one. And now i saw it while looking for my charger in my drawer. So i guess someone wanted to really remembered. 😉 ____ I could still remember how happy you were when you saw what were on the table and jokingly asked, “kay kinsa birthday?” I remember you loved cakes that weren’t too sweet for your taste buds. And each time i find one in my food trips, i think of you, that maybe you’d love taking a bite of it too. It’s sad knowing that i could only light the candles at the church, instead of lighting the age candles on your cake. But that’s life and life must go on! Again, happy birthday in heaven! ____ But before i end, lemme share you this: For those who make being busy as an excuse of not finding time for your loved ones, STOP and MAKE TIME.
