He was labeled an alien terrorist and hunted by the ATCU He was betrayed by Coulson to the ATCU He joined shield, and was involved, successfully in helping with the siege on castle hydra. If only he had killed guyera then, or if others had listened to him about the portal. He was tested by Coulson over and over He worked with the Secret Warriors to rescue the rest of team shield He was wrongly accused of being hive swayed and of killing Malick. He was asked to, and wore a murder vest so he could go in the field He was shut out of the search and attempts to DE Hive Daisy He injected himself, with a cure. This didn't seem to have any long term effect aside from him being locked up for a while He pulled a whole stealth mission with May to send Lash to destroy Hive He worked with Yoyo, May, and Mack to stop Hive from achieving his plans of launching a weapon to destroy humanity He then went with Coulson to the edge of space to stop Hive again from destroying humanity. Then, he is badly (possibly fatally) injured in a fight with Hellfire He decides to be the one who dies to save the world to keep Daisy from being it. He learns his purpose was to stop Hive. My point is Lincoln has had a hard go...and never deserved the hate he got
