Yesterday was the Pathfinder WOTR birthday. What could be better than art with all the companions. Some of the best characters in any game I've ever played. If not the best. Thanks to the writers.

Useless rpg recs. Games where you can romance a character who is trying to kill you/previously tried to kill you
Marazhai (Rogue Trader) - enemy sent to kill you Wenduag (Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous) - tries to kill you to serve a demon Zevran (Dragon Age Origins) - assassin sent to kill you Minthara (Baldur's Gate 3) - enemy of act 1 Leos (The Divine Speaker) - assassin sent to kill you Flanker (Sorcery!) - assassin sent to kill you Casper (A Date with Death) - the grim reaper
And three more under the cut because they are spoilers!!
It means that I will follow you no matter where you go, and I will fight for you until my last breath. And when the time comes for us to die, I'll cover you with my body, and I'll have no regrets.
i'm over the moon with this absolutely wonderful commission for Lilith and Wenduag, done by @dracoryss! thank you again, this is fantastic ❤️🔥🕷️

Another One
God my KC's outfit looks so ugly on a bowling ball shaped body
weekly art challenge #9 - dynamic posters
it’s quite a lengthy story about the unbearable tragedy of getting what you want
Lann and Wenduag thus far feel like such a fascinating contrast to Regongar and Octavia. Grew up together in conditions of deprivation and subjugation, one of them embracing a hope that guts their self regard and the other finding survival if not selfhood in pain-as-strength. Regongar and Octavia drew strength from each other even as they clashed and hurt each other in the way that people do when they're figuring out how to love after a lifetime of trauma, and oriented themselves to each other inextricably. For Lann and Wenduag this fundamental difference became a rift that fractured their perception of each other to the point of no return. Wenduag calls out Lann's lack of self respect and accuses him of all but groveling to uplanders. Lann in turn projects his need to uplift his kin on to her, and then calls her broken when she finds other sources of strength. In each other's absence they grow more hurt and angry about this fracture. There is genuine venom there of a sort that would not have been if theirs were purely an uprooted relationship, but the care they both spent on each other feels wasted to them, and turns to poison between them.
Regongar and Octavia struggle to find personhood outside of the dynamics of hurting for each other, they end up hurting each other in the process, but at its crux they humanize themselves for a lack of words, through the eyes of one another. In the end, they express their fears and open themselves up to the vulnerability of change. They change and accept each other's growth and contradictions and find synergy in their differences aside from a necessary enmeshment. Lann and Wenduag, on the other hand, come to a head and sever themselves from each other and resent and grow exhausted with the parts of themselves they've left in the other's hands. They double down and reject that kernel of common ground and understanding and deliberately play into the other's worst idea of themselves. Both of these are fully viable and probable trajectories for relationships that grow in severely traumatic conditions tbh.
