Took some extra pictures of Balam and his Robodogman pal Wendham to help illustrate their story! A big thank you to Steven Dwyer ( Wendham's owner) for the story and photoshoot assist!

“Balam has the usual stoic and quiet tendency of most former V.U.L.T.R agents but his former career had left him with a fear of his terrible capabilities . No longer forced to obey orders to hurt others but with memory banks full of the things he had done, Balam seeks a life of peace. He sequestered himself away from humans and cyborgs so that he would never have to act in violence again. However, while out scavenging for fuel pods one day, a chance meeting with a Robodogman named Wendham changed his life forever.  Wendham was patient and kind, encouraging Balam to see the positive aspects of society and to stop seeing himself as nothing more than a weapon.  They set up an outpost together, a place where Balam could have occasional company rather than continue to hide himself in the Wastes. After a few months of companionship, Wendham had to move on and seek others to help. Balam gave the Robodog a homing beacon that would ping the Harpyja soldier, bringing instant aid if there was any trouble on his journeys. Wendham accepted the beacon but silently vowed to never use it, knowing that it would force his friend to go back to his old ways and do things he no longer wanted to do. Pressing a small dried flower into the towering cyborg's hand Wendham said "Peace to you brother, and always be your best self." and went on his way. These days Balam mans the outpost, helping travelers and people in need when they happen across his home. "
