This has been a very difficult day. Arthur has not been acting like the sweet boy we know. He has not been himself and extremely aggressive. Arty has also been overwhelmingly lethargic and not eating. Anna got him to eat some tonight and he threw it up. Many diagnostics had been run on him and everything was in normal range. Not giving us an answer to his changes or what was happening. The best guess that our vet and emergency hospital vets have is that he had a cancer lurking somewhere. He was taken to the emergency vet hospital tonight. He no longer was willing to walk today or move. He had to be taken in on a stretcher. After looking him over the emergency vet decided it was in Artys best interest to set him free of his pain and heartache. He was suffering. Not only was Arty's body under attack from sickness but his heart had truly given up. He knew his family left him and they were never coming back. Anna was with him tonight holding him in her arms and ushering him into peace. Arty finally knew love and acceptance but his heart was devastated and could not recover. He did bond with Anna and had moments of happiness for that I am thankful. Arty, I am so sorry your human family failed you. I'm sorry they knew you were sick when they dumped you. You deserved better than this. We hope that your heart is whole and you know that you were loved in the very end. Love was whispered until your last breath. Run free, sweet Arty.
