Success Burnt Me Out. Stillness Brought Me Home.
For most of my life, I measured success in numbers. VC-backed startups. Growth graphs. 2 a.m. Slack pings. The more I built, the less I felt. Until one day, the engine stalledāand so did I.
I didnāt crash. I dissolved.
Not in public. Not dramatically. Quietly. Like a slow leak in a tire no one noticesāuntil the car wonāt move.
So I did something I never imagined: I stopped.
I left my calendar. My investor calls. My six-screen setup. And I came to Bali.
I Didnāt Come to Heal. I Came to Breathe.
I didnāt arrive in Bali for healing. I arrived for air. I needed to hear my own breath again.
No pitch decks. No performance metrics. Just the sound of wind through palm trees and the slow rhythm of presence.
What I found wasnāt a retreat. It was a returnāto my body, my breath, my boundaries.
The Wake-Up Call Nobody Warns You About
In the startup world, we glorify the grind. We call 4-hour sleep cycles a badge of honor. We confuse momentum with meaning. But hereās the truth:
š” You canāt hack your way to peace. š” You canāt scale your nervous system. š” You canāt lead if youāre disconnected from yourself.
I learned the hard way. I burned out because I outsourced my worth to achievement. Then I began learning a new scriptāone written in stillness, simplicity, and somatic awareness.
What I Practice Now
I donāt preach. I practice.
šæ Breathwork before problem-solving šæ Grounding rituals before strategy šæ Intentional silence before feedback šæ Listeningāto my gut, my body, and the part of me I ignored for years
Wellness for me isnāt bubble baths and green juice. Itās building emotional resilience. Itās learning to say no without guilt. Itās becoming fluent in self-trust.
Who I Hold Space For
I now guide:
š§āāļø Founders whoāve scaled companies but lost themselves š§āāļø Professionals in transition, burnout, or silent grief š§ Parents, creatives, coachesāanyone seeking to slow down and reconnect
I host retreats here in Bali. I share weekly wellness prompts on Substack. And I lead intimate breathwork circles (yes, even over Zoom).
Not to fix anyoneā But to help them remember they were never broken.
Stillness Is a Skill
Weāre taught how to build. Weāre rarely taught how to be.
But the truth is: š§ Stillness is what unlocks clarity. ā¤ļø Stillness is where emotional intelligence lives. šŖ Stillness is how you meet yourself again.
And thatās where every true transformation begins.
The Invitation
If youāre exhausted but canāt admit it⦠If your body whispers but you keep muting it⦠If your days feel full but your soul feels thinā¦
Come back.
Not to Bali. To yourself.
You donāt need a wellness guru. You need space. Breath. A mirror.
Iāll be hereāholding space, guiding breath, and walking slowly through this fast world.
One mindful step at a time.
