I just posted an outline of my diet plan on my blog (DavidAvellan.com link on profile). First picture shows 1 year of tracking my weight. As you can see, I lost a significant amount of weight from start to April. I was eating at a calorie deficit, and doing a lot of cardio. But then I started to gain weight. What happened? I started lifting weights 6 days a week and eating more protein. Being that I hadn't lifted weights in years, those first 6 weeks saw me put on a lot of muscle. I verified that with taking body measurements, seeing me arms and chest go up while my waist was going down. Overall, I went from 214 to 184 to 195 now at about 10% bodyfat (using calipers so accuracy is questionable lol). But the main thing is I'm feeling great. I share on my blog the mindset, how to track, what metrics to follow (second picture shows my current macros), what to eat, when to eat, how to eat, what to drink, what supplements I take, and how to make adjustments. I have had so many questions over the years on how I diet, and this is probably the best way I can answer it. Diets are not one size fit all, but I think regardless of who you are this will serve as a good starting point. So I hope this helps 🙏 #diet #lifestyle #mealplan #health #wellnesd https://www.instagram.com/p/B2hP_b-pPic/?igshid=1ejqy691slmu9
