Modified my @harborfreighttools #weldingcart to fit my @inweld_group #coplaynorstar #migwelder. . Removed the angle from the top shelf so the welder would sit flat. Cut away the right vertical support so the door would clear. . Also got rid of those worthless chains and mounted the tank off center with some @quickfistclamps. Not only secure the tank better but to also clear the gas line and power cord. . Great cart for the money. Had a major malfunction this morning which dumped over my welder due to a harbor freight welding cart wheel failure. The fall caused the feed rate on the welder to become erratic so I called Hobart to see what the damage cost might run if I had to take it in for repairs. Luckily the guy said pull the side cover and check to make sure something didn't get jarred loose. One of the 3 wires on the back of the feed rate potentiometer was also falling off. I slid the connection back on and checked all of the rest. Luckily that was all that was wrong and saved me about $300 as he said it might have damaged the circuit board. That was luck along with the fact that the valve on the top of the argon bottle didn't blow off. The knob wobbles some but no leaks. So add any project to the list of stuff to build for the shop, welder cart. I got this welder cart on sale from harbor freight right after I bought me first welder. Usually I don't go far inside the shop with it but this morning I rolled it outside to weld on the sheet metal floors in my car I'm working on. One slight twist to the surface the rear wheel was on folded it under like a toothpick. I'm sure if there was a video of me scrambling to catch a welder and bottle might have been something to see. Sorry to disappoint but I missed me 15 seconds of video fame. Anyways, I made an axle I could bolt up to the back of the cart to get by with till a new cart gets built.
