As NEXUS Sec. tightens their grip upon the Time Nexus, controlling all traffic to and from 2085, a resistance forms to combat their corruption.

Very little is known of The Resistance, but it is rumoured that it owes its origins to the splintering of the Chrome Stallions mercenary company.

May 14 2085, NEXUS Sec. hires the Stallions to perform several off-the-books operations. With city-wide mistrust of NEXUS Sec. growing many of the Stallions’ captains felt any association with the mega corporation was unwise. The leadership of the Stallions splintered and civil war within the company erupted. From the ashes of that conflict the Chrome Stallions resumed operations with half of its leadership missing. Many assumed these missing captains died in the civil war, but some say they went underground and formed The Resistance.

In the year #2085 conflict and war are a way of life. From the #MeanStreets of Bay City to the ravaged wastelands that surround it, gangs, warlords, bounty hunters and mercenaries eke out a living through professional violence.

The Chrome Stallions is one such mercenary company. Fielding armoured infantry and boasting a 'no job is too big' policy, the Chrome Stallions have risen to become one of the most feared forces on the battlefield.
