You know I was originally going for India, but a Native American Percy is also really cool? Like, imagine the Gods coming to America expecting to be all ~white~ and looking like Wall Street and then they all look like Native Americans because spoiler alert this was their land first.

So I think my dreams are being haunted by something. It started when I was a little kid, I had a dream that wasn't particularly scary (saved a family from being locked in a house during winter, kept having to save them, got locked in a similar house myself at one point) but I woke up filled with this fear and dread. It didn't get to me for a while, then in junior high I had that dream again, and it was there. I've had at least five dreams with this fear seeped in, while the dreams (cont)
aren't scary. It's not even the same person or character in every dream. Last night I had another one, and it's been about four or five years since I've had it. The feeling is like deep, pit of my stomach fear. Like there's something approaching. It's dread. I don't know if you can help me, but I figured you would at least be interested. If anything I'm not sure I want to solve this problem yet. I'm more curious about what it is and what it wants.
It sounds like a reoccurring dream to me, rather than a dream that's caused by a spirit. Generally speaking, spirits will influence dreams for one of two reasons - to pass a message on, or to intimidate or terrify. Passing on a message will usually only happen until the message has been received, and they're usually quite close together (several times in a week, for example). Dreams that are meant to intimidate or terrify are caused by spirits that are extremely malicious and would leave other clues in the form of hauntings, so if that's not happening then you're probably safe there.
Reoccurring dreams, however, seem to have their own thing going on. Quite often, these are also messages, and if you interpret them you can usually find some really good clues about who you are, what you want, what you're having issues with, etc. Even if dream aren't completely identical, sometimes the reoccurring theme is a feeling (in this case, dread) and a general thing that's common with all the dreams (in this case, feeling that way when you know you shouldn't be scared). Reoccurring dreams usually occur during times that are related to the dream, too, so there's a clue there. Take a look at what's going on in your life whenever you have these dreams. Are you stressed? Worried? Content? Happy? A dream that has a focus on being trapped usually has something to do with insecurity or anxiety, for example. Do you have these dreams during periods of great change in your life? Analysing when you have the dreams and looking up the main themes could give you some really good clues as to what these dream is trying to tell you. I'd definitely recommend looking it up, because it'll probably give you some insight into how to fix the issues that might be causing it.
