Why does this sound like you've never had pizza

originally i was going to request an external hard drive (my archiving projects are becoming elaborate and i need the space and at this point idk when i’ll be able to afford it honestly) but i thought that the fundamental humor of the original post (an “if this post gets X notes, my local authority figure will give me Y” post, only it forces the audience to be the one promising the thing) would work better with something less expensive, since it would seem more absurd...

(also, well, i’m hungry, and hiding the true request behind a layer of jokes is a way to make me feel better about making it)

(anyways i don’t think i’ll actually get 1000 notes any time soon... which is unfortunate. i really wanted that pizza.)
