Intro
Good day! Thank you for the Weirdtale comic! Since Tumblr started working worse in my country (I wonder why /sarc), I now only visit this site to read your comic's chapters. English isn't my native language, so forgive me if there are any mistakes.
Before i start the biggest yapp in history, here are a few words:
I Love Weird sans. Did i tell you i resonate a lot with him since in my university group i am… well the weirdest out of the most normal ones :D. I am glad to see that some characters actually don't hate him just for his existence. I'm also often surprised when I find out that people actually feel good with me, because I now spend most of my life in a toxic environment and it kinda kills my self-confidence. SORRY FOR COMPLAINING ABOUT LIFE, IT'S WEIRD SANS'S FAULT.
2. I'm thinking of making a Spotify playlist with songs that go with Weird Sans's vibe (weird sans playlist yayaya). May i? I'm also planning to draw Weird Sans in Japanese uniform soon, haha. Or in his new design. It's coooool.
Here we come to the biggest yapp in the history.
Since wirdtale is coming to the end and you are asking for help well >:3 ... As a #BigFlowerFellFan, I reread all the episodes with FF Sans to see where you messed up (/pos) and where you nailed his character.
In any case, I want to say that, IMHO, you portrayed his character pretty closely to the original. I read the comic and was like, "Damn, he probably would have said that."

Personally, I really liked the detail about him drinking ketchup in Chapter 15. FlowerFell Frisk preferred ketchup to mustard, and he could have been drinking ketchup as a tribute to them (Frisk died at the end of the original fanfic, yes, and Sans misses them <:3).
I really liked how in Chapter 16 he asked Weird Sans to learn to control his power, and I liked how he asked Weird Sans to stop training if anyone showed up (to avoid harming them). After meeting Frisk, FlowerFell Sans became a pacifist for me, trying not to harm anyone out of habit (Frisk tearfully begged him many times in the original fanfic not to kill anyone who got in their way).
Minor OOC comments. Personally, I have a hard time keeping a character's character canon unless it's obviously OOC, so don't take it personally. I'm a dummy. You did a good job.
It REALLY doesn't matter but i will share. Bad Sanses. Chapter 15. I don't think even the original Fell would have agreed to join the "Bad Sanses" gang because… he's just a chill guy who doesn't trust anyone/is always tense (his instability always makes his red eye glow). Flowerfell Sans is the original Fell, but he's just from the Frans AU, lolz. To be fair, half of the gang (Horror, Dust and etc) simply wouldn't be in Bad Sanses, but they do in the fandom, so it's not your problem XD.
And… that's all? I don't know how to react to characters' personalities at the end, where they're intentionally broken. :Р
Here are a few facts about FlowerFell that might help you understand Sans's character. This is simply a retelling of the original fanfic and its sequels. Important clarification/reminder: in FlowerFell, yellow flowers on Frisk's body after each death, and if too many of them grow on a limb, that limb stops working. So by the end, Frisk literally couldn't move or speak (they could speak, but it caused a lot of pain for their throat.)
1. Sans only killed Frisk voluntarily twice (one was the moment they first met but Sans had taser instead of a whoopee cushion, and the other was when he got angry because Frisk was too kind to monsters (due to his mistrust, he thought Frisk was predisposing everyone to them, so they would later betray everyone).
There was a third time - Papyrus forced him to kill Frisk once. Yeah, Sans used to completely obey Papyrus(his "boss") until the moment he refused to kill Frisk for the second time at his command and teleported away from Snowdin with Frisk. (There were many resets in Snowdin, and during all this time, Sans spent a lot of peaceful time with Frisk. He gradually began to think that it was possible to change cruel reality he was in, and that even a bad monster like him could become better.)
Frisk died many times in Snowdin because Sans always reported their location to Papyrus, and Papyrus killed Frisk, so... I headcanon that Sans was the one who caused the most deaths for Frisk. Which makes their love story even more bitter.
2. Along his and Frisk's journey (there also was Flowey with them but who cares /j), they encountered many monsters who wanted to take Frisk's soul. Sans initially wanted to simply kill everyone, but Frisk begged him not to. He listened to them and didn't kill anyone.
By the end of original fanfic, due to the numerous flowers on Frisk's body, they were too weak to leave the underground, and they simply gave up their soul to destroy the barrier. The monsters left the underground and began to live on the surface. Since then, Sans has often visited the flower garden(?) in the underground where Frisk was buried.
3. The sequel describes how he often has nightmares in which Frisk blames him for their death. Ofc Frisk would never blame Sans. He is the one who blames himself.
3. In a non-canon sequel where Frisk survived, he is just a caring husband and father :3. He is unsure of himself, but he does his best to be worthy.
This is all info you need i guess. Sorry for the long text. Give me a reason and I'll start yapping.

THANK YOU!!! you are so kind to tell me this i am soo grateful!! and also im so glad you feel that way about Weird sans :3 PLEASE DO make that playlist!! ive thought about doing that a few times when finding some songs i think are vibing or lyrically perfect for him, sufficiently strange or just say the word Weird lolol (my singing monsters, cold island song- "nobody likes me... everyones afraid of me... its because i am weird..." and probaly some animal collective songs)
again i super duper appreciate the help :D and dont worry im not at all taking the comments personally i think theyre pretty funny. im actually super shocked i didn't get that much obviously wrong with flowerfell. He was the one i was expecting to utterly wrong about EVERYTHING. Especially when i found out flowerfell wasnt a mix of flowertale and underfell XDDD
