Finally my herkimer diamond electroformed rings with organic shaped setting and sterling silver base are complete. It’s been quite a journey making these and I’ve added brass plating to my list of newly acquired skills. Each setting has been electroformed in copper, then plated in brass which gives a better surface for the silver and then fine silver plated. The shanks have been created from sterling silver wire and each ring has been given an oxidised patina to bring out the texture.
