Fun fact, if you have some acid, a few inches of half-inch copper pipe, some graphite paint, and electricity, you can make this

And then into this (using a Dremel with grinding stone and wire brush)
And then into this (oven at 350 F for a little while)
Then this (little longer in the oven)
And then this (just a little longer)
(it'll get put on a flat-link gold or brass chain of some kind)

It's really not terribly difficult to learn to electroform, and startup cost is maybe $150 if you're starting from zero, including a power supply. Highly recommend; this dramatically ups the gift-giving game!
I've been experimenting with my electroforming gear again, this time with some dried ferns I had pressed from last summer. I love how this piece turned out with the additional labradorite stone.
I'm planning to oxidise the leaf and leave the ring shiny.

Fun interaction at Lowe's: I'm buying root killer, because it's copper sulfate and the base of my plating solution, and explaining to the guy who's getting me more from overstock what I do with it. He was excited to hear what I was actually doing with and wanted to see pictures of things I'd made. 😊

This piece took me 11 hours to make from start to finish mainly because; all electroformed jewelry is hand sculpted!
These are only made when I’m in the right headspace/in a meditative state. Every order is cleansed with sage and set with the utmost positive intentions before shipping to the buyer!❤️
