When the writer’s block hits, I usually try to find a way to recharge while still trying to keep my creative side going. Sculpting and painting helps. A few of us horror kids may remember this Famous Monsters of Filmland Do-It-Yourself Monster Make-Up magazine. Well, I have always loved the Weird-Oh’s head on the cover, so I decided to create my own. The eyes are from some Halloween solar path lights. The helmet, head, and goggles are from the thrift store. The mouth is cut from a plastic bleach bucket. Added some colored duct tape for the decals. A big thanks to Michael Berlin for introducing me to Milliput epoxy sculpting putty.
