okay first off read rock and riot ( @rockandriotcomic ) its about a bunch of different couples in the 50s and its really good and cute and i recommend it to everyone who asks me for recs 

if you want a finished comic you could read tj and amal (which i dont have a link for currently but its pretty popular so u should be able to find it somewhere) its sometimes nsfw, there are conflicts with parents and there’s homophobia and drugs. its about gays on a roadtrip

also read wastelanders by @yaki-chizu the main character is trans and i made a guest comic for it, its currently on hiatus but yaki will get his new tablet soon and the guestcomics will also be uploaded soon

@omgcheckplease is a pretty cute comic about a gay guy in a college ice hockey team

the comic With Great Abandon on tapastic is a comic i just started reading this week and its pretty cute, about two gay guys, one of them is trans too

goth western is also on tapas and is about a lesbian who brings her lover back to life in the wild west. warning for blood, death, violence

okay like my two absolute favorites of all time are @longexposurecomic and @rockandriotcomic , you can read them on here or on tapastic or w/e

long exposure is about two high school boys, and there’s some supernatural stuff, and it’s basically the enemies to lovers trope but really good. theres one mildly nsfw scene and the f and q slur are used a bunch, also a warning for eating disorders

rock and riot is set in the 50s and its really cute, there are a lot of different couples, two trans characters (one nb and the other a trans girl), and its just so good, you can also read it here on tumblr or on tapas. i dont really have any warnings for this except for like, what you could expect from a story about a black lesbian girl in the 50s so theres a bunch of racism homophobia and some transphobia

besides that tj and amal is really good, its about two guys on a roadtrip dealing with homophobia from parents and other problems, its finished and i couldnt find a link but that shouldnt be too hard, tw for drugs homophobia and some nsfw scenes

autophobia is also pretty good, its set in high school and it deals with mental illness and other issues while the main characters fall in love, its on tapastic too i think
