Fantasy Short Story Weekly Read

This week’s weekly read is Tamora Pierce’s short story “Student of Ostriches,” which can be found in the book Tortall and Other Lands.

Last week I’m trying to curb my dramione fic reading addiction by.. surprise surprise, reading fics of another pairing. It didn’t work though :( at the end of the day I still need another dose of draco and hermione in love with each other (in 121321 different ways) 

How do you guys deal with fics reading addiction? I might need help. 

✿  the laws of celestial objects by peanutbrittles123 | 11k words | heartbreaking. in which draco was voldemort’s right hand so when they lost, the consequence is just.. T_T 

✿  Paths Not Taken by cordelia_aster | 3,8k words | SUPER REFRESHING FIC! with an interesting take! also doubled up as a dramione fic recs, I think. 

Arctic Wolf by sodamnrad | 4,5 k | durmstrang draco, 4th year au

Tea & Necromancy by saveourskinship | 40k | 8th year, draco set to help a (kind of) zombiefied and lonely hermione
