Listens lately: I have been listening to Ariana Grande’s album NONSTOP this week and trust I was not a fan before but this album I am! The music is SO good, the songs reflect where she is, totally in love and understanding where things went wrong in past…

Hi Folks, It’s time for Weekly Obsessions!

My LIFE-ly obsession is Marilyn Monroe. I have read so many biographies of her, I’ve lost count. I own even more than I’ve read. I think she was beautiful, smart, kind, and that there was a lot dragging her down. I love her so much that she has become a fictionalized character in the novel I’m working on, along with Sylvia Plath and Jackie O. 

She was more than a doll, a sexual plaything. She loved reading.She was dedicated to working on her skills as an actress even when she was already famous. She was loving and kind and desperately wanted to be a mother. She was a victim of sexual abuse as a child and an adult. She was so much more than the “mmm girl.”
