Purpose In Pain
The apostle Paul told Timothy that God had a purpose in all the heartaches and sufferings. It doesnāt always feel good, but thereās reason for the pain.
For the which cause i also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and Iām persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day. (2nd Timothy 1:12)
What am I saying? Many times God allows us to go through some things so we can recognize that we need Him. If you never had a problem, you would never had a solution. the more you need Him, the more you call on Him. The more you call on Him the more He shows up. the more He shows up, the better you know Him. Thatās the ultimate reason: that you might know him.
