I would’ve never met strangers on the internet because I felt like I wasn’t worthy to meet new people in my life. And I also remember a time where my creativity as an artist was blocked because of the lack of self confidence I had in my skills as an artist. All of these things I gained back and grew because I learned to value my physical and mental health first. Running into the weekend full speed ahead. 10 tips on staying healthy throughout the weekend are hot on the blog along with last weekend's #weekendleftovers. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Healthy isn't a M-F thing it's a for life thing. So as you go into this weekend follow my simple rule of eating and enjoying life: Do not eat like an asshole. What i mean by this is eat/live in moderation and treat your body right. Don’t be mean to it by feeding it things that don’t fuel you properly, but live life and enjoy a glass of wine. Fitness goals can definitely push us into a tunnel vision. A mindset that we so often hear phrases like "I'll clean up my diet after this weekend." or "I shouldn't have brunched so hard.” And my personal favorite, “I drank too much champagne.” While I believe in pursuing goals relentlessly I'm also a firm believer of making sure that balance is a part of the every day conversation. It's true your workout only consists of 4% of your day, but let's not forget the rest of our lives where we get to enjoy the adventures given to us as presents. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Fitness is a tool to help us get in shape to be strong both mentally and physically to be able to enjoy these moments in life.
