Weekend Read: Your Fathers, Where Are They?
I usually post a weekend read about tech or product. So I get really excited when I get to change it up and talk about a book I just finished reading and want to recommend.
I finished Dave Eggers (new?) book Your Fathers, Where Are They? And The Prophets, Do They Live Forever?
For the record, the title is a pain to ass while writing from my iPhone.
I couldn't believe how quickly I finished the book. I had such a fun time reading it. I didn't know what to expect, because the only other book I read from Eggers was The Circle. This was different and read more like a play.
There are six characters and one setting and the novel is all dialogue. The writing might not be brilliant but it's fun and I went from liking and disliking every character throughout the book. The book focuses on a lot of current issues and the characters all have very different perspectives. Needless to say, it keeps things interesting.
If you want something to read this summer I recommend you give it a try.
