This weeks sewing challenge is to sew something other than fabric. So I made a paper rose from old book pages with sewn edges. Took some trial and error but doing a straight stitch before cutting the petals out worked the best. Mostly I was hoping for the thread to add a touch of color but it didn’t provide the look I was hoping for.
