The party explores the dungeon beneath the haunted house and comes face to face with Lorghoth the Decayer, a huge Shambling Mound. Lo Kang the Goliath Pirate is smashed down but Dora the Bard inspires him to get to his feet and keep fighting. Gokk the Half-Orc Barbarian goes into a berserk rage and leaps on the monstrous heap swinging away with his great axe. As the decaying mount starts to pull him down to his doom the rest of the party rallies around and together they attack with everything they’ve got. At 1 hit point Gokk, 1st level Half-Orc Barbarian, rolls a critical hit and cuts his way out of the shambling mound, defeating the powerful monster.
