You were always happy. Well not always , but you always tried to make sure you were nice. Your girlfriend Wednesday Addams was quite the opposite. She could care less about what people had to say. She could care less on what she said. She embraced her weirdness. You envied her for it.

“Hi! Could I get a Carmel frappe with not whip cream and sprinkles please!” You said, the worker at the counter whose name you knew from the would purpose he and Wednesday sometimes work together for her mystery’s. Tyler. He was always nice to you. Just maybe a little to nice. He knew you were Wednesdays girlfriend. But he didn’t really care, he liked you and was still trying. Even though he knows how Wednesday is about stuff like that, especially when it came down to you.

“Yeah sure.” He quickly made it and set it down my the cash register. You went to give him the money but.

“It’s on the house.” He said with probably the biggest grin on his face.

“Oh, okay thank you!” You took your frappe and went to sit down with Wednesday in your guys booth.

As you sat down the glare her eyes had on you could kill.

“That imbecile needs to check his self before he does something he might regret.”

“He’s just being nice Wednesday, maybe you could learn a little something from him?” You said. She hummed. “I’m unsure wether or not your visions on me are clear. I’m not nice.”

You smiled. She wasn’t nice but that’s what made Wednesday, Wednesday. Tyler walked over to the table.

“Hey girls do you want anything else?” He smiled “Oh um could I maybe-“

“We don’t need anything else. If we wanted something we would come to the front counter like your supposed to. Because in case you forgot this is a coffee shop where you go to the front desk to get your food. Not a restaurant where you get waited on.”

You kicked her leg under the table just gently so she would look at you “Wednesday!” You whisper yelled.

Tyler walked away without saying anything. And Wednesday went back to pretending everything was normal.

“So according to this book and uncle fester. This Monster we happen to be looking for is other than the one behind the counter. There’s also one called a Hyde.”

“Wednesday! Please be good. I’m gonna go use the restroom you stay here. Wednesday took out a pen and ripped a piece off of a napkin and wrote.

Here’s a tip. Don’t look at other’s people girlfriends like you did mine. Next time I won’t be so light with my regards and insults towards you. She got up gripping the book in between her arm and placed the napkin In the tip jar. Then waited for you outside the restroom.

When you got out she immediately took your hand and did a fast strut out of ten coffee shop. “Wednesday, what the hell? I thought you we were gonna study this monster and have our frappes?”

“I’d prefer to study with Eugene at his little beehive castle.”

“Okay, fine I guess.”

So you decided to try dating for a while. It’s months later and it’s going good. But you also haven’t been able to get her attention because she’s so focused on this mystery.

And Tyler. My god Tyler he was nice to you but it was clear he liked Wednesday. With all that being said you never got her attention. She still liked you she was just busy.

There was a knock on the door. You rushed it open to see Tyler standing there.

“Oh hey Tyler!” You said.

“Here. I’m not really supposed to say anything other than give that to you” he handed you a note.

“Thank you.” You stated, he began walking off as did you. You began walking back to your bed opening the note kicking the door shut with your foot.

“Please meet me outside at 7:00.

Wednesday.”

It was 6:48. So you decided to get into normal clothes and go downstairs.

By the time it was 7:00 you were outside. You felt a tap on your shoulder, when you turned around. It was Wednesday.

“Follow me.” She stated.

“Yes ma’m.” You giggled

She lead you to a little tent, when you poked your head in it was a computer and blankets. With snacks obviously.

“I know that I have not been spending as much of my time with you as I probably should.”

“So I made you a little setup of what your humans do. Watch movies and eat junk food and like cry. I suppose.” She said

You smiled. “Thank you.” You went in for a hug and she gladly accepted it. You were the only person that could touch her for more than 2 seconds tops. Or at all really.

She loved you. Only you. And you hoped it wouldn’t change any time soon.

“Wow. Your so- happy and bubbly.” Mortica looked over to Wednesday.

“That’s not a bad thing. Just a different approach for my daughter.”

“Yeah! I get that a lot! Oh - um did you wanna sit down there’s Wednesdays bed over there or the couch over there!” You pointed to the couch.

“No thank you honey but may I introduce Gomez and-“ she was cut off.

“The selfish dorpe.” Wednesday finished for Mortica.

“Pugsley. His name is pugsley.” She smiled. Gomez and Pugsely said hi and and smiled.

Pugsley jokingly said “so what are you and Wednesday like- married or?” He chuckled.

“Oh- well no!“ you said

Little did you know Wednesday had a ring in her dress pocket.

- you would bully her as a joke.

- even when she wears really tall boats your still taller

- she loves you but hate that your taller

- after a while she just accepts it

- gets mad at you when you lean on her

- you lifting her up so she could grab something.

-“ y/n.”

“What?”

There was a pause. She was embarrassed

“Can you get that?”

You chuckled.

“Yeah.”

- you big spoon her when she actually lets you touch her.

- she got picked on for her height all her life. Except she didn’t care.

- You get picked on for your heigh and she cares. When Wednesday tends to butt in these arguments when someone calls your short, they also make fun of her saying she almost as short as you. But she puts them in your place.

- Wednesday has boots that make her really tall, she often wears them mostly because she knows you can barley reach things and she helps.

- she probably teases you for it. Just as a joke though, but heaven forbid someone else say a word.

- Wednesday definitely got you a pair of really tall boots like hers for your birthday.

- When you need something on a shelf that she can’t reach either. She being the bad female strong bitch she is would pick you up.

- She thinks it’s cute that she found someone even as short as her. She’d never say it though.

- When you finally convince her to cuddle (when *cough* *cough*) she’d hold you not you hold her because your so tiny.

- Since your a tiny baby she always looks down at you, even if it is a few inches only she mocks it.

Your friends warned you. Every single time. You being stubborn didn’t listen to a blink of what they said.

It was the night of the raven dance and instead of attending there. You we’re going to go to the normies school dance so you could poor real pigs blood through there sprinklers. You had already gotten a buckets of pigs blood. All you needed to do was go through with the plan.

“I still don’t think this is a good idea y/n!” Enid said. She was getting ready for the raven dance at there school.

“I’ll be fine, all you party poopers just can’t see what great fun this is.”

“Ruining a school dance is not fun! You could get in serious trouble. Especially the normies school! I just don’t want to see you get hurt is all.”

“And I appreciate that enid but I’ll be fine I swear.”

You hugged her. And she tried one last time to get you to stay before you left.

“Hey y/n!” You turned your head.

Xavier.

“Your still not going on with this plan are you?” Xavier said.

“Oh my god. Everyone hears so lame. I’ll be fine I’ll get out before they can see it was me anyways.”

“Y/n listen I really don’t think you should do this I-“

“Zip it. Okay I’m going through with it I don’t care what anyone says.” You were wrong. You did care what one had to say. “Don’t ask me to bail you out of jail.” He defended and walked off.

You were walking down the stairs when you saw her. “Oh hey Wednesday, what do you need.” You asked “just for you to drop the bucket of blood.”

“I’m sorry?”

“Listen y/n hate to bug your spark of insanity joy but. This is not a good time to do this. I think the ideas awesome really. But with a monster on the loose I think this just isn’t a right time to do this. Especially since we’re guarding the fact that the sheriff already has its eyes out on Nevermore.”

“Oh, yeah I suppose your right. Plus the idea was pretty crazy.” You laughed, Wednesday began to walk off.

“Wait uhm will I see you at the dance?” You asked

“Unfortunately. But not because I wanted to I was forced against my will for a train of surprise to ask Xavier.”

You giggled.

You walked into Wednesdays dorm.

“Hi!” You said

“Hello.” She jumped to you, she hesitated but wrapped her arms around you but she didn’t give in. She still was very stiff and cold kind of numb as well. She stayed like that stiff, cold, and numb not knowing when to pull away. Finally you did it for her.

“Seems your excited!” You said

“Oh I guess.” She said. She didn’t really know when the right time to do anything touchy was. But I guess she thought this was the perfect time. She leaned in for a kiss. When she pulled away she was quite giddy.

“Would you like to watch a movie?” She asked. “Sure. What do you want to watch?”

“I wasn’t sure, we can check the movie app that’s on the television.”

“Netflix ?” You giggled. “Yes, that.”

You guys laid down and turned on a movie called “the gate’s family.” Apparently it was a true crime movie on Nevermore’s great mystery on what happened to the rest of the gate’s family and why they all slowly went mad and died.

Wednesday hugged you. Trying to cuddle. Trying. She rested her head on your shoulder and put a arm around you. You giggled.

“What?” She asked. “Your cute you know?”
