Important Tips For Planning Your Wedding
Planning Your Wedding
The day of your wedding is an incredibly important day in your life. It is your day to shine and to make a commitment to the one you love.
Do not allow the stress of planning your wedding overtake such an important event in your life. This article will give you advice that can help you plan your wedding well, so that you can have an awesome and unforgettable wedding day.
Have your wedding on the property of a family member or friend. If youâre friends with someone who owns a large backyard, you can have a cheaper wedding there. You can even have someone come in and clean it up before the big day.
It is obvious that that most important aspect to think about in a marriage is the one whom you will marry. This life-altering decision is one that should not be rushed into. Give this personâs habits and peccadilloes a great deal of consideration.
Wedding Transportation
Think about wedding transportation. If you have people who need to get home after the reception, have taxis ready to bring them. This is a great idea for people who drink.
Your reception location should have a dance floor or room for dancing. It can be a horrible experience to feel crammed while everyone around you is trying to dance; move chairs and tables out of the way to give everyone some extra breathing space.
Perhaps enlist the help of a friend to help you to carry all your camera gear around. Your assistant can help you corral the wedding party for great photographs.
It may sound odd but it might be fun if you ask your family if they would like to join you on the honeymoon as well. Longer stays at hotels are often discounted so itâll save you money in the long run. You can make your destination wedding a vacation for your friends and family as well.
Planning Your Wedding â Destination Wedding
If you are having a destination wedding, why not treat your guests with an indulgent gift basket delivered right to their hotel rooms? Include maps, cameras, hats, disposable cameras, or guides on local attractions that they may want to visit. Another nice gesture is to include a restaurant guide, since people do need to eat after all.
It is a good idea to plan for an even number of guests at each table, since people tend to pair off in conversations. Itâs also a good idea to have people of similar ages all at one table because they will tend to have more in common.
As mentioned earlier in the piece, getting married is among the highlights of your life. Organising a wedding is definitely stressful, even though it should not be. Use the advice here to help you plan the wedding of your dreams.

How to prepare for a wedding? Part 1
Some people say that being a groom for the first time will be hard, next time will be much easier...Of course, Iâm kidding, I donât take that possibility in to account. Nevertheless, Iâll have to face it soon enough to start worrying, hence start worrying with me, please. I decided to share with you my wedding planning concerns.
First of all, I had to make the announcement to my parrents and close family members. Obviously, we told both parents and we did it personally. If my parents would live far away I would give them a call. Off topic, I expected reaction like âYouâre so young, think this throughâ or something, but their reaction was like âFinally, we thought youâll never settle downâ. I love them so much.
Next, me and my fiancĂŠ talked ideas about the style, venue, food etc. Most importantly, we set the date. Itâs 15 months after the engagement so itâs enough time to plan everything but not enough for secound thoughts (Honey, I swear I havenât those). In my case, we took into consideration months from June to October, venue we found was available when we wanted, however DJ wasnât. He was available in October so we decided âOctober it is!â.
Band or a DJ? OK, Iâve already mentioned that we decided for a DJ instead of a Band, but let me explain why. We were at my cousinâs wedding and there he was, awesome, cultural,well-organised he won our hearts. He was so awesome that I had doubts about who I actually want to marry, him or my future bride Michelle. It would be awkward to back out so I stood with my first choice.
Last but not least, I meant of course part 1, I wonât tell everything at once, we were scouting for perfect wedding video. We searched phrases on Google like âwedding videographer londonâ and âbest wedding videography londonâ, we found plenty of great websites with astonishing portfolios. Our choice was HD Moments Wedding Videography from London, UK, why? Because, we watched their work at their blog and it was breathtaking. OK, to be honest, Iâm just a groom so my fiancĂŠ picked them because they make very romantic weeding videos and she didnât want to agree for drones and Star Wars style wedding. Who knows maybe next fiancĂŠ will be more open-minded.
Stay tuned for part 2!
