...Lighting test for a new take on one of the front-page slides for DDCom (once it's ready to go up).
(yawn) Probably still needs some scale adjustments on the characters and some more tweaking of the light. No rush...
(note to @rembrandtswife: Absolutely he's not (as Dusty is supposedly sort of 6'4", Goddess help us, by Daz reckoning. Plainly Mon Capitain is standing on a ledge. (If I remember there's one up against that side of the set.)
We have the usual problem here with scale and angle. Freelorn, for example, looks taller than he should be because he's closer to camera. The Kirk and Spock figures (being "cosplay" figs and very much not massaged to fit into the Daz sales structure) should both probably be shorter. The Putative Skinnier DD Figure should probably be shorter as well.* (eyeroll)
...Later for all of this. I have other annoyances on my plate at the moment, of which you all shall shortly hear. ...And probably laugh yourselves silly.
*The master footnoter Will Cuppy says of Queen Hatshepsut's approved descriptions of herself ("She was a maiden, beautiful and blooming"), "Surely there is no harm in telling the world how one looked in 1515 B.C.") ...In a similar context, I made Terry Pratchett almost-spit his drink one time when quoting this. It was a happy moment. :))))))
