Ok so there is this site called ChickenSmoothie.com

It’s a cool site that I thought y’all might like.

On it, you can

collect virtual pets (they have cool and colorful ones)

trade virtual pets

chat in the forums.

roleplay

draw in the site’s online drawing program

etc

It has a decent sized community. Lots of them are artists and draw their ocs. They even have adoptables and art trades and such.

It’s a child friendly site too. This might limit what kinds of things you can say (you can’t even give out your age lol) or roleplay (no extreme violence, no nsfw, etc.). It might be good for any 13 year olds who might follow me lol. But I think anybody can enjoy it.

I just discovered this and I fell in love. The information is presented clearly, with aspects listed, significant formations, orbs, and other bonus fun facts. Only thing that was difficult for me was houses, but I can turn to Astro.com or Cafe Astrology for that.

As a heavy internet content consumer, I am always looking for web products / services that increase signal to noise ratio of the content I consume. Recently I have found two web products that have just increase the signal to noise ratio by a huge factor.

Inoreader - If you have read my blog in past, you know that I have written about RSS (Rich Site Summary) based Feeds and Feed Readers. RSS Feed Readers basically allow one to access RSS feeds across the interwebs and subscribe to it, thus making it easier to access all your favourite web content at one central location - your feed reader. In the previous post on RSS Feeds, I wrote I recommended Newsblur. It is a great RSS feed reader but if you are someone who reads a lot on the internet, Newsblur's restriction of just 64 sources can be limiting. I can't afford to pay $5 a month for my RSS feeds. Inoreader has no limit on sources, this is why I just switched to it and found that it has useful analytics for me too (just like Newsblur). It has a really good and minimal interface. Monica - Large corporates use CRM software tools like Salesforce, which enable them to develop their relationships with their current and prospective customers. I found Salesforce tools too complex to manage my personal relationships though. So, I began looking for relationship management tool to manage my personal life. This is where I came up on recent post by Derek Sivers on a related topic - Why you need a database. He recommended a couple of tools of which I found Monica best suited for individuals. It has just changed how I interact with people and is increasing the productivity of my interactions and activities within my social sphere. It is one of my favourite web products that I am spending too much time on recently. Also, it is even open source (so no big company will probably ever buy this tool for user data) which is a relief from privacy perspective. You can sign up for Monica at https://www.monicahq.com.

answer (English) vocab questions, every right answer donates 10 grains of rice. you don't need to give any personal info, just go to the site and start playing. you don't need to log in to play but you can if you want to keep track of your stats and progress. you get no penalty for wrong answers and some hungry person gets food while you build your vocab, win/win. very good if you have spare time. bored? open freerice and help someone out.

There have been plenty of online tools which can assist writers such as myself with our craft, but I have not been seeing much mention of a certain site with quite a bit of potential. That site in particular being known as Storyline Creator. It allows its users to make interconnected webs of narrative details, setting up expansive tales in a rather smooth fashion.

The site itself has been active since near the middle of 2016, and it is still looking for more support which could help expand its options. Like several other recommended sites on Tumblr, it does ask for a subscription of those who wish to play with all of its capabilities. Let us all try to assist in the utilization of this promising tool.
