It's time for our final webcomic check of the year.

Las Lindas: Geecku talks to Minos about the hunters who tried to take down Sarah. Man I wish those hunters fucking succeeded.

Yeah this whole page is just, all problems with Las Lindas in a nutshell. It tries to be false comforting and cute and then it ends on a shitty joke, and Mora once again appropriates the spanish language. So much for "THIS COMIC IS ACTUALLY ALIEN LANGUAGE". There is absolutely nothing else to talk about.

Spinnerette: Heather is driving like an idiot in her car because apparently she heard her mom is involved. I hope she pulls a Paul Walker. Yeah I saw previous pages of this chapter and apparently this entire "Heather's Mom becomes Ultra Karen" is YET ANOTHER possession plot. This time it's a hair saloonist who looks like this.

Hmmm, sharp teeth, no nose, eyes constantly closed. Very unsuspicious.

Yeah there hasn't been a SINGLE mention of any political shit since this comic started. Heather's mom is just possessed again. So much for putting Thoughts and Prayers in those guns. It's literally just another chapter of Spinnerette. There is absolutely nothing else to talk about.

Monster Girl Academy: You know it's bad when first thing that comes up when you look this comic up is the Kemono page. Kemono is the website that posts all Patreon content locked behind paywall for free. I don't think that's legal but who cares. They're stealing my job.

So in Issue 44, good fucking lord, Spinnerette is on Issue 43, HOW DID THIS COMIC RACE PAST SPINNERETTE DESPITE EXISTING FOR MUCH LESS TIME. Ahem, anyways, so in issue 44, Zack gives his half-sister tanline job. There is absolutely nothing else to talk about.

Carnivores: Carnivores lore is becoming intense. Austin Wolfclaw knows The Great Creator of All, and is talking to some guy when the line is hijacked by...Tom Guinness and Karyn Sommers from The Run Arc???

Yes, they've gone through a huge redesign, but they're now part of something called "Project Delta." Of course it's CARNIVORES that is the most interesting out of all these ongoing comics. This is still the A.I. comic and judging by what's going on, this is gonna become a gripping thriller with some serious commentary about the evils of GenAI. Take that Kraw. Austin can do better commentary than you.

Legacy of Dominic Deegan: We see a black woman from the cover of the chapter I covered last webcomic check escaping an eldritch horror. She says that the monster is not gonna eat her and SHE'S TAKING THE POWER BACK MAN. But then she sees Snout inside the monster and oh shit, there he is. He hasn't shown up in the actual comic for like god knows how many Webcomic Checks. And uuuh, yeah, there is absolutely nothing else to talk about.

Alien Dice: Oh shit, the comic has updated. We see the piece of shit Riley, Chel and Victor bowing to Lexx and also we see his animals bowing to him and EWWW

Yeah I have no idea what happened to everyone. Zeta looks ugly as sin, why does Serenity have gigantic horns. And where is Sirius??? Stealth still looks awkward.

But there is some serious shit going on. I just don't know the context.

Hey I haven't done that thing where I look at an ONGOING riffed comic as a bonus in these webcomic checks in several years so I'm gonna do just that.

Las Lindas: Sarah and Butt Dog go swimming and of course we're treated to bikini shots. Oh look it's bikini shots of a girl who was 17 at the beginning of this comic. They're talking about their feelings on BOYS and apparently Minos is traiting that goat man to lift weights and apparently Rachel and Butt Dog both have a crush on him. Oh fucking cool, a love triangle. Fuck this shit.

Spinnerette:

Wow, the artist for Catfish and Black Rustler arcs got even WORSE. And what is the plot? They're fighting against a villain called, SIGH, "Theater Kid". And he throws gas bombs that make people sing because lol randumb xdddd

I really fucking mean it that the art has gotten bad, look at fucking open mouth expressions, they look like fucking Mall Elementals.

Man, remember when Spinnerette actually had guts to be critical of current day events and was actually efficient satire? Remember when General Generic wanted to fucking kill everyone in Columbus, Ohio if it meant killing Colonel Glass was possible? Current state of Spinnerette is very much "Swan Lake playing on Soviet TV" like I would not be surprised if Kraw was getting funded by the U.S. government to create bad superhero parodies and "ackhually America has never done anything bad ever" propaganda.

Honestly, who the fuck even reads Spinnerette? People who read Spinnerette must be the saddest people on the planet. Also, I've noticed Mecha Maid is getting shafted to the side more and more. She was barely in both Ultra Karen arc and she is constantly on her computer from what I've seen in the Theater Kid arc. Is Kraw now editing all lesbian romance out of Spinnerette? The minute Kraw stops drawing shitty porn, it's fucking over for him. Even then he's still got...

Monster Girl Academy: Squirrel Woman is back and she has three breasts, and WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED TO ZACKGINA???

In the still unfinished comic riff where Zack and Zackgina split in half, she actually got a redesign, but this is EVEN FURTHER from the original design, holy shit.

Her horns are shittier, her hair is shittier, her ears might as well not be there, and even if that shot doesn't show it she still had those disgusting hyper botox lips.

I was gonna say Monster Girl Academy is more respectful of its origins than fucking Spinnerette but I spoke too soon. And of course first thing Zack does after seeing her three-breasted abomination of a stepsister is just goon his fucking mind out. I hope all that propaganda department money is worth it Kraw you fucking hack.

Anyways, let's go to a comic that isn't stuck in 2013.

Legacy of Dominic Deegan: We see a dwarf punching a stone and saving a woman from being...ew,

Well at least Mookie is still good at drawing body horror. And it's not EVIL TEETH BLARLGHLGLSALALSALSALR

Why the focus on dwarves now? Where is Snout?

Dolmistaska:

We see PM wake up and see black weird goblin thing. Earlier we saw that the black guy is NOT Mateo but rather a different character called Serge, who calls himself "God" because he created...life. That's really worrying. Jolene's whole family is fucking messed up.

I guess Jolene's house is the new Dolmistaska in that weird shit happens inside it. Dolmistaska world already has Mall Elementals and Demons and Beholders and dolls that bring you back to life. Of course it also has some kind of shadow goblins.

I must be forgetting something, oh right, Carnivores. It always is able to cheer me up!

Carnivores:

Carnivores...is over??? It's OVER???

And it ended with fucking Multiverse being destroyed. After 23 years, it ended. Austin pressed the big button to reboot the multiverse and save it from AI.

I'm starting to run out of clever things to say at the beginning of these posts.

Las Lindas: We see Buttdog for the first time ever in one of these webcomic checks, she is running towards someone she knows. Yeah yeah, you guys love pretending you're all some kind of star athletes, if you were you would not have time to draw this shitty comic.

But that's not important, what is important is that Sarah's boobs have grown bigger. Reminder she was a minor when this comic started, and anytime we try to do something "heartfelt", we end on women yelling, like Buttdog is howling.

"Gee GW, are you gonna say Chalo's style is getting uglier and uglier". Yes, Chalo's style is getting uglier and uglier. Even after god knows how many Webcomic Checks I've done on this fucking comic, it never gets better. It's like the American newscycle.

Spinnerette: Are you fucking kidding me, there is a fucking talking dog now. I thought Canadian Superheroes was only gonna be a trilogy.

The Spinnerette does the usual bullshit backstory, turns out he was experimented on with Chernekov Kirby Reactor during the cold war and that's why he can talk. Can't wait for Katt to defend all the atrocities Canadian government ever made once again.

Monster Girl Academy: Centaur Rapist and Cheenotaur have a boob growth contest, and it ends with "Fat Cat" having six pairs of tits. Good lord. Zack doesn't even CAMEO in this issue. This is definitive proof that Monster Girl Academy is running out of ideas. This isn't even sexy enough to be interesting. It's the most lowest common denominator feeling chapter in this lowest common denominator webcomic.

Kraw just...has no passion anymore. I would not be surprised if he is letting AI write all the scripts to Spinny and MGA and his stupid ongoing 4koma comic too. I can't even be angry, I am just waiting for him to retire with his millions.

Carnivores: We see the return of none other than that red dinosaur Makkilus from the Father and Son arc, holy shit, Austin's pulling all the punches.

Turns out his "Creation Machine" was stolen apparently.

Carnivores is not perfect but it never manages to offend me whenever I come back to it during Webcomic Checks. That honestly makes me glad that even after 25 years, Austin is still passionate and finding new ways to experiment with this comic. He's never earned a single dime working on this, but I don't think he gives a shit. That being said, BRING BACK LOTHAN.

Legacy of Dominic Deegan: There is some form of dwarven revolution going on, and dwarf women no longer have beards apparently. Man, comparing this to ongoing riff of Dominic Deegan the art feels...a lot more bland.

It no longer gives me the wibes of a comic whose art you could find in the cover of a punk rock album or in someone's tattoos.

I guess Mookie has switched to 100% digital art because of reasons? It could just be him being older but that doesn't mean he can't draw something cool like come on.

Ask the Werewolves: it's official, Issue 7 is....still not out yet.

And Alien Dice hasn't updated since its last page, so I guess the sensible thing is to look at something I try to look at very rarely...

Peter and Whitney: Oh hey, Jason the NICE man is back, and Peter shares his sketches and...

Las Lindas: Mora and Geecku talk some shit about chaos and end of the world but that doesn't matter, this does.

LOOK AT THIS SHIT, MORA IS TAKING STEROIDS NOW. I SWEAR TO GOD, I KEEP FORGETTING SHE WAS THAT BUFF. LAST TIME WE SAW HER SHE CERTAINLY WASN'T.

Okay I went back and EVERY time I do a Webcomic Check on a page Mora appears I am always shocked by her fucking muscles. Maybe it's because I do those constant revisits and that completely erases my memory of MuscleMora?

The worst thing is this isn't even consistent, in the 20 Years of Las Lindas banner, she is shown without ANY muscles, so it's fucking magic muscles that show up anytime she takes her shirt off. I have to apologize to Spinnerette now...speaking of

Spinnerette: Katt is trying to fight against the other nine-tailed guy we saw earlier, and he is ranting about how CANADA'S HISTORY IS DARK BUT WE ARE TRYING TO BE BETTER. Oh my fucking god, is Kraw now trying to work Canada's past exploitation of indigenous people in its plot??? And give a villain a motivation based on that? So this is just Canadian Killmonger?

Gah, I don't even want to know what is Kraw doing. I am not even gonna give MGA the time of the day for this. I still have an unfinished MGA revisit still in my drafts. I guess I finally burned out on it???

Carnivores: We see Austin driving home, ending yet another one of his crazy adventures...in a page that was released over a month ago. I guess Austin is taking a break, since his page does list upcoming Carnivores arcs. If this page is exact same in the next Webcomic Check, then I'll get worried.

Legacy of Dominic Deegan: We see a bunch of women talk to each other and...I really hope all these women are related to each other, because I am afraid I spot a bit of same face syndrome in Mookie's art. Not even ongoing Deegan riff has that! Don't tell me Mookie's flaws from 2004 are coming back to haunt him!

Once again I have zero context to anything that's happening, so I am not just not gonna say anything about it. I wonder what happened to Snout, he's been absent the last 3 Webcomic Checks.

Alien Dice: Lexx is still fighting the Orange Man, and this time he has a partner! Another brother of Riley!

And more Tiffany's art changes, the more it stays the same. And Lexx talks about cheating, but these two don't listen to reason and prepare to finish him.

Peter and Company: I usually would've left this out, but I was told that Peter's secret crush finally debuted, a deer named Cici who really loves him but Peter won't give her time of the day. What's the point? We all know these two won't end up together, Peter and Whitney is here to confirm that! And sadly, cameos haven't gone anywhere, but I like the mouse science teacher.

Spinnerette: GOD, are these White Heron spinoffs STILL going? At least the artist has been the same all these years, and I would argue that these do look the most professional of all Spinny arcs. Anyways, there’s some chub we don’t care about who cries about their Korean girlfriend, who broke their heart. Who gives a shit? Seriously, White Heron doesn’t have fanservice or fetishes minus Tomboy Soldier. It’s clear Kraw is putting the most effort into these story-wise, but what’s the point when your fanbase only wants porn?

Las Lindas: “Are you superheroes???” WFHIBFKJBKJEFEKJFEJKBFKJEBEHJNBFEHJKARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME

Okay okay chill Me, let’s recap this page. There’s a weird elephant, a superbusty raccoon who I hope is NOT Tiare, some guy who looks fucking VeERGHmon and they’re all talking about Phi’s disappearance. Does this comic finally have conflict again? And then Miles asks that question and they go “yeah, let’s go with that”. Why does EVERY single webcomic I riff eventually evolve into capeshit or capeshit-adjacent genre? I guess Las Lindas hasn’t gotten good ratings and Chalo wants to ape off the Spinnerette audience. Well not THE Spinnerette audience, but you know what I mean. The horny teens who are sick of mainstream superhero comics not having any fanservice so they’re flocking to the indie scene in droves. I would say this comic jumped the shark but it has done so about million times in the past.

Carnivores: We see another instance of actual vore in this comic. Flock of animals are eating stuff and then Polar Bear comes and kills them all, while Austin recalls this event. The whole thing is framed like a weird flashback. When did this comic turn into Quantum Leap but with Austin?

Spinnerette: Ugh, guess what? Sarah Nicole is back and now she’s giant. Yup, Kraw’s hidden macrophilia lurked into the comic. Now with less weed though (maybe). And lurking by earlier stuff, Spinny grows huge too. I guess Spinnerette has been downgraded to be Kraw’s fetish showcase from now on. I have to give him credit though, he’s finally being honest about something. Believe it or not though, P.C. Dimbleby’s art has actually improved, somewhat.

Las Lindas: Minos and Mora are in a bath and it’s already looking like a bunch of circles with bewel and emboss. Minos says “You will have our support” and i stopped reading immediately. Now i have to wonder where Chalo is putting all his Las Lindas Expanded Universe degeneracy after the Tumblr-pocalypse though.

And finally we’ve got a true bombshell of the year, apparently according to some shady sources i won’t mention, Albert Temple was Richard Katellis all along! What the fuuuuuck! That explains the similar artstyle, the similar characters, the similar everything. So Albert basically invented “making up entirely alternate pseudonym to hide behind ungracious art” shtick. Typical furries am i right.

Roommates: VeERGmon and his brother broke up or something. Apparently they were an incest couple all along. Whatever. At this point the expanded universe of RM has gone pretty big, i don’t care.

Carnivores: The crossover arc is still going, again, it’s odd to see this comic become a non-fetish comic out of sudden.

Kit N Kay Boodle: It might as well be officially dead. So is Gene Catlow, which was thought out to be finished by his family.

Las Lindas: Unfortunately this piece of shit isn’t dead. Miles finally finished his fucking plane, and only NOW the two seem to have officially become an item. For a while i thought that Chalo’s art had actually gotten better from previous pages, but it looks like Miles and Sarah have gained a shoulder expansion or something. Also, Sarah looks like a boy. It’s horrible, just all of it. I don’t even want to analyze it anymore.

Spinnerette: Guess what, it’s art has also gotten worse. Kraw had to sacrifice fat Spinny to be one time thing, and now she’s in date with Mecha Maid. But about art, the noses have gone way past full tumblr nose now. Mecha Maid looks like 40 year old woman now, it looks like false anime bullshit, like a fusion of Walter and P.C Dimbleby artstyle. It’s maybe a bit easier on the eyes than P.C’s style, but it’s not helping. Spinny is also geeking for her like it’s the first time ever. Mecha Maid is absolutely perfect and happy and there’s no inner pain or something. I guess Coma Theory still applies.

Bonus! Dominic Deegan: Still hasn’t reached it’s resurrection Patreon goal, hah. Happy fucking 40th Mookie. You’re still a 20-year old sports team and authority hating egomaniac psychopath to me.

Oops, ever since i thought i would return, i suddenly got a busy session and during that time this blog kind of fucking died. But never mind that, i’ve got irrelevant webcomics to talk about. In case you don’t get what this is.

Roommates: Believe it or not, somehow this comic got worse. In the most recent page we get out first-ever acknowledgment that women exist in this universe, as VeERGHmon’s brother used to date one. Turns out he became “pansexual” but he still ditched a woman for a male. At the very least he didn’t go on a rant how all women are evil and how men should just date other men or something. But that’s not the worse part i was talking about, apparently another addendum adds a fucking peeing fetish into the mix. You know, i’ve gotten into a lot of shit in the past for mocking certain fetishes, but i am sure nobody will come to their defense if i say Spelunker Sal and Dreamous are fucking gross and they deserve to be grounded. If someone does though, may the world be nuked.

Carnivores: The evil blue fox returns slapping the Black Lion, apparently in yet another arc full of continuity references. Also, weird human character named “Author” pops up. At this point, this comic has stopped being about gorevore. It’s kind of amazing fetish comic got derailed into non-fetish comic.

Kit n Kay Boodle: Hokumm talks with nipples in the arc that has been going on since 2009. Turns out Karastropov is NOT his re-wait, this is the exact same page i talked about in the last Webcomic Check! I don’t know what happened, but since nothing has been submitted in Katellis’s Furaffinity either, i presume Albert Temple’s death made him discontinue the comic. Could something have happened to Myrna too?

Las Lindas: Okay, seeing this shit’s newest page made me want to do a new update. Turns out Chalo’s art also has gotten even worse. Taffy, a character who back in the old days used to be relatively calm to the point of not having actual character is dramaqueening about something and yells at Douchecast, but apparently her face changes shape every panel. Yup, Chalo has gotten so low, his art now is completely inconsistent. Mora is also getting offmodeled up the ass, and chibi interlogues are not helping. I don’t know or care what’s the plot here, but i might get filled up soon on it probably.
