#weaver queen

when silksong was trending on twitter for a bit i got to see a lot of cool weaver queen designs and decided to do my own. i wanted hornet to have an aura of power so a lot of the design aspects i chose were purposeful.

the halo: it’s a central piece and shows hornet not only taking grand mother silk’s place but also that she became a godly being

the head covering: it’s reminiscent of hornet’s mother, who was also a queen and someone in high power

the cloak: i want to convey some familiarity, so i modified her cape to be longer and have a slit in the front to keep some aspects of her original design

the weaver button: this is to show hornet’s status as a weaver, nothing more complex than that, but i like to imagine as a weaver queen she takes more pride in that status

the ruffles: added to give more of a royal flair

additional sets of eyes: i thought it looked cool, but since hornet takes on more of a spider form in this ending i thought the additional set of eyes would also convey that idea more

additional limbs: this is canon to the first ending but I posed them (particularly the top two) to be sort of reminiscent of hindu goddesses who tend to have multiple limbs
