Finding my way at the intersection of @stationhouston & @houstonexponential. My favorite part of this whole experience is hearing entrepreneurs' stories of how they feel like they've finally met their "tribe": Starting a company can feel lonely, so it's awesome when you meet people who are traveling that journey, too, who welcome you into their lives as a friend and are as generous with their time and advice and support as you are. There's so much time and work and passion that goes into building a community that usually goes unnoticed and unrecognized, running in the background. (Maybe that's why organizers and developers get along so well--similar experiences!) But times like this are a good reminder of how much it's worth it, when you see your community connect with others, benefit, and grow. I'm so proud of all the tech startups representing #Houston at #SXSW: Alice, Liongard, Unvired, @HTXlabs, VastBiome, Fresh Tech Solutionz, Penrose Technologies, Syzygy Plasmonics, Alive 5, Pheramor, and so many more I didn't get to see during #ATXStartupCrawl!
