Day 3: Lesbian Mystery.
Day 3: mysteriousness. Lesbian Visibility Week! It means a lot to me, as a âgender non-conformingâ woman who can easily âpassâ as straight or queer. this is for all the Lesbians who have paved the way for me and for the young Lesbians struggling greatly to find Lesbian community! Weâre here for you. Please take this week to reflect on the Lesbians in your life and how we can best support each other. Feel free to use the images Iâm posting this week and share them. Ask questions. Be curious. Send Love! #lesbianvisibilityweek2023 #lesbian

MarĂa BerrĂo is a contemporary artist born and raised in BogotĂĄ, Colombia. She grew up on a rural farm, but has been based in New York for nearly two decades. BerrĂo says,
âI take inspiration from South American folklore and religious narratives. In these stories, animals are often symbols of hope and power, used to teach and guide people. In the logic of my paintings, there is no division between what is human and what is found in nature.â (p.30-33)

Yâall arenât going to beat me down. Iâm over here...happy, healthy(ish), and determined to live my dreams. Iâll educate where I can and work hard at being polite when I do so but just know Iâm not going anywhere and neither are the rest of us. Trans people have always existed and will continue to do so. We BELONG in society and deserve equality! #transisbeautiful #wearehere #transrightsarehumanrights #transathlete #determined #poised #ready #letsgo https://www.instagram.com/p/B9AEhx3gq_B/?igshid=1u6d0bvn0wmeo
