“Literally or figuratively? A’course I know where we headed literally.” Bob clips along as a respectable trot, hooves pressing into firm, thick mud against the bank of the Dakota. The rainfall is light given the unwavering darkness above, so deep that even the high cliffs don’t cast a shadow. 

       ×  ——— KIERAN DOES ALL THE CHORES IN THE CAMP REGULARLY. And he sure hopes that at least someone will appreciate it, even when they don’t say anything. There’s no way he’s gonna laze about in a gang that frowns upon his presence. And if it wasn’t for Arthur, Bill or Sadie would have killed him by now. After Kieran finished taking care of the horses, he remembers that there’s something else he needs to take care of. And good thing, Arthur’s just at a convenient distance. Slowly, he approached the other.

“arthur?”

it wasn’t often lao got to go into town without the company of naoko - though, dutch had her following one of uncle’s leads. as luck would have it, fahy had one of her own, but she’d need more than one pair of hands for this. his were more than hers, especially more willing to get bloody.

     he catches the stolen pocket watch as it’s tossed over, studying the expensive trinket before looking back up to the outlaw that had given it to him in the first place.  ❝ why? ❞  javier knows how much arthur enjoys fancy items even if he played it off as if it means so little to him. something so beautiful and worth a much needed price certainly didn’t belong in the filthy hands of a killer like himself. still, the gesture is appreciated even if it’s confusing.

      “ How can you do that so fast? “

      He shouldn’t sound so shocked after so long with the group, but whenever         he’s out there with Arthur and the man drops O’Driscols like they weren’t         moving at all he still finds himself in a bit of awe.   It’s ridiculous, it’s         abnormal, and yet, it was consistently something the older man did.
